Nu er 's avonds weer volop geroeid kan worden, komt het regelmatig voor dat de loodsen niet goed afgesloten zijn als de laatste roeiers het clubgebouw hebben verlaten. Dit kan buitenstaanders in de verleiding brengen om er binnen te dringen en vernielingen aan te richten. Daarom moeten de laatste roeiers (zie het afschrijfboek) erop toezien dat alle loodsdeuren (en met name de skiffloods) afgesloten zijn als zij het gebouw verlaten. Het clubgebouw gaat sowieso elke avond om 22.00 uur op slot.

Now that rowing is back in full force in the evening, it often happens that the sheds are not properly closed when the last rowers have left the club building. This can tempt outsiders to invade and cause destruction. Therefore, the last rowers (see the write-off book) must ensure that all shed doors (and especially the skiff floods) are locked when they leave the building. The clubhouse will be locked every evening at 22:00 anyway.
